I love this man.

Late edit: I found the source for the picture. The guy's name is Chuck.

Chuck rules my mind.

Great humor.

With the sign likening Michael Schiavo to O.J. and Scott Peterson....seems the vegetative state is contagious.  That picture is the best!

That said...

I have been trying very, very hard today to not let myself dwell on the beautiful irony of the whole situation, because breaking into evil laughter at the expense of these Neo-cons is frowned upon in my overly Republican office.

Now that I'm home....

BBBWWWWAAAHHHAAAAHHHAAA!!!!!!

I do hope they recover, because they are still humans, and I'm just too nice of a person to wish ill on anyone. I wonder though, if they do recover, will they have learned anything?

Great photo - and great example! More of us should take advantage of the media circus arranged around such events to discreetly get a 'real' message across.

... did the 'protesters' around him suggest that he be burned at the stake?

I lived in Pineapple Park, '70 --'73.  It was then, and for another while yet, the longest I had ever stayed in one place!  Surely it has changed since then as most things do, but still I just cannot imagine this circus in THAT location!  First, MSM located Pinellas Park next to Tampa, then Clearwater, but it's St.Pete that is close-by.  In fact, in the 70's many people in the area didn't even know it was a separate town from St.Pete.  It had its own town hall, waterworks and police dept., with a kangaroo court next door, all located conveniently next to the railroad tracks.  The coffeehouse was across the street, and the police would come out regularly to photograph the license plates in the parking lot, considering anyone who would go to the coffeehouse, 'subversive', maybe commie-pinko or somesuch.  They were all scared to pieces of boomers around there then, throughout much of the state too, except for Gainesville and the area of little towns and lakes surrounding Gainesville, like a little island of reality in a sandy paranoiac sea.  They were steadily trying out various pages from 1984 there, back THEN.

I have HEARD that there are anti demonstrator demonstrators filing in there too, but if they are, we haven't seen anything of them in the TV footages.  Isn't there someone in the area (of sound mind and body?) to check that out and 'report back' about it?

I have to admire him.

What's upsetting me about this case (besides the obvious) is that the media is only showing protests and active people from one side. I'm sure there are people actively showing their support for keeping Terri off the feeding tube and letting her "die" in peace (in my mind, she's already gone).

Even if it's unintentional.

"Judge Greer = poo-head."

It really captures the immaturity and the inanity that these protests have taken on.

He definitely has big brass ones!  I would have thought that those intolerant a-holes would have stoned him to death for showing such a sign in the midst of all those idiots.  I cannot believe that some of them have even put up signs likening her 'death by starvation and thirst' as somehow akin to Auschwitz.  These people have NO concept of what a concentration camp looks like, or they wouldn't even want to TRY walking into that sort of thing.

My wife's uncle spent five years in a Russian concentration camp after the end of the war, mining some mineral or other, and his description of life inside the camp leads me to believe that no matter how cruel you think this is, there are worse things.  Auschwitz is definitely off the scale in that respect, but I fail to see how one individual dying in a hospice, even if she has been cut off of her support, could be anything like the mass killings that went on there, or how Russians treated POW's after the end of the conflict.

I'll admit, some of the Germans probably had it coming, but the guys in the field were just doing their job, just like the guys in Iraq and Afghanistan are doing theirs.  It's the guys at the top that make the decisions, but the guys at the bottom that have to carry them out.
While I may not worship like others, I do have faith. The faith that most people will take advantage of one another without fail. Pagan Priest

"or how Russians treated POW's after the end of the conflict"

Or how our own soldiers and federal agents have treated non-POW's? I can't help but add this. We may not be the monsters the Nazis were, but our nation has beaten, raped and killed in it's "prisons", and imprisoned people for years for NOTHING. So I'd say we don't need Nazis for examples of monstrocities anymore. We are our own example.

No matter what we do or say, that legacy will remain. As time goes on, and more and more stories come out, it'll get worse and worse. imho And the good soldiers and agents that willingly participated will come home and be walking amoungst us. Home-grown sadists. Sorry off-topic. It just boils my blood. Full rolling boil.

I hear you!
I have thought many times of returning trained killers having committed atrocities......
Even those just having witnessed many atrocities........
Then back within 'society' to live life as if nothing had happened?  Probably left to their own resources too, rather than psychologically treated and supported?
yuck.
darn.
The longer this is allowed to go on, the more society will have to absorb and re-absorb when it is finally allowed to be 'over'.  It is a mutual karma thing though, for if not committing atrocities, nor contributing to the continuance of a system that commits atrocities, nor contributing to its continuance by turning one's back on it all in refusal and denial, there is a need to be contributing to the ending of such ways that allow such things!

The only thing that could make that pic better would be Jeff Gannon standing in the mix with a sign that reads, "Will Fuck for Food!"

Nah, they TALK tough!

If Chuck was to stomp his foot, they would have scampered away like cockroaches.

Particularly the judgmental little bitch with the fried hair and the nasty sign with OJ and Peterson.

Don't these nuts have jobs? Lives? Families of their own?

Or have their own families gotten tired of their insanity and kicked them to the curb?

Look at the dead fish look on the bitch with the OJ/Peterson sign.

He can hop right on the air and eulogize Terri Schiavo.

This psychopath has not been to ONE military funeral, but five will get you ten he will go to Terri's (or send Condi to it).

Anything to continue making a woman's life and death a media circus.

I can't even think of anything bad enough to wish on Bush and his dumb ass followers!

I am feeling especially ugly about my post regarding the Pope.  I do not agree with many of his teachings but he has always been a gentle man with love in his heart.  I need to say this and I hope that when he passes, it will be gentle. Shame on me for making light of the health of such a gracious and gentle soul.  It shames me that I would say such a thing and I apologize to him.
What I said about Falwell and Renquist stays.
